Sabudana Khichdi Recipe

Cooking Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

200 gm Sabudana
50 gm Peanuts
3-4 Chopped Green chillies
1 Potato
Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
Ghee/ Oil
Salt

Steps

  1. Soak sabudana in water for 3 hours. Do not add excess water, make sure that water is at the level of sabudana.
  2. In a pan add ghee, jeera and chopped green chillies.
  3. Add one chopped potato and let it cook on medium flame for some time.
  4. Roast the peanuts in a pan, remove the outer covering and grind them in mixie.
  5. Add the roasted peanuts to the mixture and add sabudana after 2 minutes.
  6. Add salt, cover with a lid and let it cook on low flame till the sabudana becomes soft to touch.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Tip: To ensure that the sabudana is not sticky, don’t add a lot of water while soaking the sabudana
