Tehri Recipe

Cooking Time: 1 hour
Ingredients
Oil
Chopped potatoes
Chopped Cauliflower
Chopped Tomatoes
Ginger garlic onion paste
Chopped onion
Bay leaf
Salt
Red chilli powder
Turmeric powder
Dhaniya powder
Garam masala
Rice

Steps

  1. In a pan add refined oil and stir fry potatoes and cauliflower till they become golden brown
  2. Now take these out, add some more oil and add bay leaf
  3. Add 1/2 chopped onion and sauté till it becomes golden brown
  4. Now add ginger garlic onion paste. Add salt, red chilli powder, dhaniya powder and garam masala. Mix well
  5. Keep cooking on low flame till the oil separates from the masala
  6. Now add fried potatoes and chopped tomatoes
  7. Cook this for 5-10 minutes and then add fried cauliflower
  8. Mix it with the masala and cook it for 2-3 minutes. After this add rice and water and close the lid
    Serve hot with chutney!
