We often become so engrossed in our worldly and comfortable pleasures that we forget the boons a simple life brings.
While on a digital detox retreat organized by @transformingtravels , I was able to re-connect with mother nature sans my cellphone. We were also given a tour of the organic farms and were invited to taste the fresh fruits and vegetables right from their source. Needless to say, I had never tasted peas which was so fresh and sweet.
These are the organic greenhouses that grow cabbage and spinach in the Silent Valley, Alchauna.
Your warm blushes
Engulf my senses
Transporting me to a wonderland
Where only your violets gloriously shine
And what a life this ageless tree has
Waiting for the snow to freeze it’s exterior
Awaiting the blazing sun to nourish it’s swaying leaves
Waiting for the trekkers for solitary pictures
And ultimately waiting for death for decades.
And what a trek 🏞️🗻🏔️ will it be if the mighty conifers 🌲 are not there to sooth us in their shade?
Before I wither
Or get taken away
I shall spread my warmth
To every passerby.
Mountains seranade me
Mountains feed my soul.
I can chose either to be a victim of the world or an adventurer in search of treasure. It’s all a question of how I view my life – #paulocoelho
That is our trek leader from @trekthehimalayas
praying to Lord Shiva and the mountain Gods after successfully leading a group of novices to the Nag Tibba top. Praying after reaching the top is his regular ritual.
He advices the travellers to respect the mountains and keep them as clean as possible because then only the mountains will respect you. He also believes that we can only successfully climb the mountain if we revere them from our heart.
