Lamb with ginger spring onion chilli – Fashioned in chips with julliened vegetables – carrots and bell peppers, these were way too chewy.
Fiery chicken dimsums – Thin translucent skin enclosing finely minced chicken with the lovely flavours of garlic and chilli, these were BOMB.
Chilli Basil chicken dimsums – Mellow and adorned with caramelized garlic – a perfect amalgamation of sweet and spicy flavours.
Chicken Hot n Sour Soup – Thin consistency with loads of vegetables – carrots, shiitake mushrooms, cabbage with shredded chicken – good but could have been better.
Lemon coriander soup – It was subtle and good in taste but the ingredients didn’t justify the name. A plethora of vegetables – broccoli, lemongrass and mushrooms drenched in a tangy thin soup. Coriander was missing here.
Noodles – Plain, slurpy, moist and excellent.
Sichuan lamb curry – Thin consistency and way too oily, but goes well with the noodles.
Thai basil chicken cups – Minced chicken mixture with the loveliness of chopped garlic and onions adorned with red chilli and filled in wanton sheets and crispy fried to perfection – boy, I was in a dream while eating them.
Thai Red curry with rice – Perfection at it’s best – the right quantity of coconut milk, lemongrass and curry leaves in which the boneless chicken pieces are drenched to the core.
Chocolate peanut butter wantons – Crunchy exterior with warm gooey choco – peanut butter mixture is surely a heavenly dessert.
The Hidden Hour is now in Delhi and we couldn’t be more happier! They have introduced three more games- “The Haunted Hostel” , “Space Wars-The Alien Attack” and “Lost in an Island- The Amazing Escape”. After having a good time at their Gurugram center, I was bubbling with excitement to try out this one!
So I tried “Space Wars- The Alien Attack” and it was amazing. They have a perfect storyline to make this escape game believable. In this one your spaceship has been attacked by aliens and you have to solve all the clues given and plan your escape as well in just 60 minutes. Nothing is virtual in here, all the objects are real. They locked all of us in a room and there were so many clues, hidden puzzles in that room which you had to piece together. The game certainly requires out-of-the-box thinking and make the rusted clogs of your brain work. The game is thrilling, exhilarating and mind boggling at the same time. The timer compels you to solve things fast. This is precisely what action movies or those finding-hidden-objects-in-a-room games are made up of. Every team mate plays an important role and this game would be good for corporate team building exercises. The 60 minutes fly by and you are left wanting for more.
If you are an adrenaline junkie, this is a perfect place for you. The Aliens are waiting to attack your ship, are you brave enough to thwart their plans?
Unplugged Courtyard recently launched their Monsoon menu and things couldn’t get any better!! The restaurant is a perfect place to dine out and has an impressive ambience.
Here are the dishes that I tried-
Chennai Express Cutlet – This one is made with rice and has a south indian flavour to it. Crunchy to the core.
Multi grain coated deep fried chicken fillet- As the whole world is getting obsessed with multigrains so why not coat chicken in it? An ingenious idea which is executed perfectly. It is crunchy as well as tangy.
Mexican Spring Roll – For all the people who can’t get enough of Spring Rolls, this one is divine. The sweet chilli sauce with which it is served takes it on a whole new level. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Banana Chicken – This one is grilled to perfection and is oh so juicy and tender at the same time. The flavours are bang on. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Kurkure Seekh kebab – The deep fried crunchy outer covering which encloses a soft chewy kebab is a different take on the traditional seekh kebab. It is spicy as well which makes it a winner for me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
A perfect place to relax and unwind after a long hectic day. The ambience is simple with soft yellow lights that makes you feel comfortable.
Here are the dishes that I tried-
Parle-G Shake – This is the first time I heard of this shake. Reminisce about your childhood by indulging in this beauty. It seems moderately sweet when you take the first sip but later on it seems alot sweeter. RECOMMENDED.
Beetroot Seekh Kebab – Beetroot is one veggie that has crawled it’s way into the menus of some major restaurants. This kekab was soft and tender and a little bit spicy. You will not be satisfied with just one. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
#nofilter Tenders – It tikles your taste buds in all the right ways. A crispy exterior with soft filling of cottage cheese inside is a must try. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Chicken Chatkara Pizza – Oodles of cheese and chicken tikka on a pizza, need we ask for more? Chicken tikka was well marinated and juicy as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Butter Chicken Pasta – Something to rejoice for all the butter chicken lovers, this pasta is served with garlic naan instead of garlic bread. A perfect fusion of Italian with Indian, this pasta is creamy and lusciouss.
#nofilter Fusion Burger – A monstrous patty which is made of minced chicken and lamb. It is tender but it is quite heavy as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
