Unexpected

Seldom I was looking for you
And seldom did I think about you
Never knew how you came to rest
In my erratic thoughts
And random dreams

Our rude conversations
Had their own charm
And now these short sugar coated talks
Make my day

You, with all your flaws
Somehow hold your sway
Over this silly little girl inside me.
How did I begin loving
To laugh at your antics?

My wild, untamed soul
Hidden beneath layers of silence
And strata of poise
Craved your inner tranquility
Shrouded by your superficial savagery

No no, it’s not love
For I have loved before
This emptiness your absence will bring
Is just working it’s sorcery on me

You know it is you
Take me away with you
Forever and ever

The gluttonous devil in us is always looking for new food experiences, be it at our home or in restaurants or at food festivals.
