For litti
Chane ka sattu
Chopped green chillies
Chopped onion
Ginger
Garlic
Ajwain
Kalonji (onion seeds)
Salt
Jeera
Mustard oil
Mirchi ka achaar
For chokha
Roasted Brinjal
Roasted tomato
Boiled potatoes
Chopped green chillies
Garlic
Salt
Mustard oil
Steps
- Mix all the ingredients for litti together
- Knead the dough using whole wheat flour. Add only a little bit of oil
- Roll into thin circles and stuff it with the sattu mixture
- Put over the tandoor and flip it over when it is cooked till on one side
- Heat some ghee in a pan and dip the litti in ghee and serve hot
P.S. If you don’t have a tandoor you can deep fry the litti or roast them over a tawa
For chokha
- Roast Brinjal and tomato. Peel of the outer covering and mash them together
- Add boiled potatoes, mustard oil, salt, chopped green chillies and garlic
