Nandos has always been my family’s go to place during birthdays and anniversaries. And why it should not be? It is a heaven for chicken livers – wings, legs or boneless bits, they have it all.
This one situated in Connaught place is a huge complex with comfortable seatings, sunshine and a live kitchen.
Spicy chicken wings: If wings have a crusty exterior, then hats down to the chef! These wings were also juicy from inside and the outer skin was sprayed with Peri Peri sprinkle, thus imparting a typical tangy and pepper flavour. Recommended.
Chicken skewers, pita and fresh salsa: The tender chicken skewers were grilled to perfection and drenched in a creamy yogurt based sauce. The airy pita breads and the spicy vegetable salsa complimented the skewers very well. Highly recommended.
Espatada Carnivy: Okay, first if all I am really confused from where to start. The sight if this dish is enough to make you drool. The succulent boneless chicken bits grilled to juicy goodness and heavily drowned in their tangy and creamy sauce – an ensemble to behold first and then relished on your palate. And those crunchy fries did come in handy. Highly recommended.
Pina Colada: A big thank you to the chef manager Anshika for suggesting this. The lovely concoction of pineapple, coconut milk and of course vodka was refreshing and went pretty well with all the amazing chicken dishes.
