Only my rumbling belly knows how much I miss the not so usual South Indian delights. We have been cooking Idli, Dosa, Sambhar, Uttapam and coconut chutney since ages but the other South Indian dishes – not so much!
When we got to know that Chattynadu, a Gurgaon based South Indian specialty restaurant is delivering to our location in Delhi, we couldn’t keep ourselves away from their dishes.
Chicken Stew: The sheer creaminess of coconut milk and mellow chicken pieces joyfully drenched in it – perfect to have this with soft & mushy appams.
Kozhi Ghee Roast: Fiery hot! The chicken pieces were succulent again and the dry masala has a good texture but spicy. This is good to have with Malabar Paratha.
Chicken Chettinad: Oh my! The curry was so rich with the spices and was well sautéed. The chicken pieces were again tender and this went well with Malabar Paratha.
The delivery personnel was wearing mask and gloves and the packaging was neat with no spillovers. The guys at the restaurant are taking all the necessary precautions and sanitary measures.
