Beware Dominos and Pizza Hut, there is a new kid in the town by the name of Insta Pizza and it will surely give you guys a tough competition in the pizza-pasta market. Their preparations are amazing – appealing to the taste buds and satisfying for the soul. The service is pretty quick – they will arrive within half an hour of the placement of the order, even on a weekend.

Here are a few dishes I tried recently :

Vasant Vihar special pizza : The base is crispy yet good to eat, the caramelized onions giving a burnt flavour and rocket leaves giving a subtle bitter taste. The zucchini is chopped and is embedded in warm gooey cheese. I wish the caramelized onions were “caramelized” and not burnt.

Veggie Deluxe Pizza : Lovely crust again with warm chewy gooey cheese and plenty of vegetables adorning the top – sweet corn, red jalapenos, bell peppers, tomatoes and mushrooms. The tangy and spicy flavour of jalapenos perfectly complemented the chewiness of mushrooms and delicateness of tomatoes and sweet corn kernels.

Downtown Chicken and broccoli pizza : Somehow, I did not get any bite of broccoli in this one, though jalapenos and chicken bits were in plenty. I really wish they reduce the amount of basil leaves in their preparations because excess of anything is bad and excess of basil leaves gives a bitter flavour to a good dish.

Make your own pasta : Mine was penne alfredo with sweet corn kernels, basil leaves, mushrooms, broccoli and cottage cheese. The pasta was well cooked and the white sauce was made with cheddar cheese. The sauce was way too yummy, thick and sticky. I could not find broccoli and mushroom bits in the dish though sweet corn kernels and cottage cheese cubes were in plenty. Again, the use of basil leaves can be minimized
