Laitlum Canyon

This is indeed a real place where the hills meet the fluffy clouds.

And as the time stood stillThe clouds took me away from the hills.

When the clouds partedAnd I was enchanted.☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️

When your presence makes the flowers come to life.

We went to Shillong in the first week of September 2018 when it was raining heavily. Majority of our photos were in wet clothes or raincoats and taken through phone cameras only. But on the last day, the skies cleared and we could finally put our DSLRs to good use.

When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and our willingness to change; at such a moment, there is no point of pretending that nothing has happened or we are not yet ready. The challenge will not wait, life does not look back. A week is more than enough time…

Watching me scold our kidsWith motherly rantsYou continued smiling In those torrential brawlsWhen I criedYou eventually smiled And now as I watch you dieBarely able to hold yourselfYou continue to smileLeaving me in oblivion Caption taken from my poem “Your Smile – I”

Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm but to add colours to my sunset sky.Caption credits: #rabindranathtagore

Tripping on your coffeeOn our first dateI hid my smirkBehind a nervous gaitAnd yet you smiled. Caption taken from my poem “Your Smile – I”

You, with all your flawsSomehow hold your swayOver this silly little girl inside me.How did I start lovingTo laugh at your antics?
