Tap house cafe should be called as one of the hidden gems of Connaught Place for alcohol lovers. You get average brands within 100 bucks which is good for parties having big groups.
The place is quite small though and can seat around 20 people only. The seatings are comfortable as they have couches. The service is slow though the servers are polite.
Here are the dishes I tried :
Crispy Veg salt N pepper : Broccoli and cauliflower florets, potatoes, French beans, baby corn and carrots fried in the cornflour batter and topped with salt and pepper is the dish to eat when you are confused about what to order. The vegetables are crispy though I wish they did not try French beans in this assortment as it didn’t go well.
Fish fingers : Lovely crispy fish from outside and juicy from inside and served with sweet tomato sauce.
Chilli chicken : The chicken pieces were soft though I wished they were a bit crispier.
Veg spring rolls : Crispy on the outside with soft glass noodles, these were fine but a bit burned on the outside.
Honey chilli potato : Extremely bad. These were not crispy at all and as time went by, they became soggier. No honey and no chilli at all.
Sweet corn : Sweet corn kernels in a creamy sauce along with chopped onions and tomatoes and pomegranate seeds. Lovely preparation.
